Although we are currently in the era of noisy intermediate scale quantum devices, several studies are being conducted with the aim of bringing machine learning to the quantum domain. Currently, quantum variational circuits are one of the main strategies used to build such models. However, despite its widespread use, we still do not know what are the minimum resources needed to create a quantum machine learning model. In this article, we analyze how the expressiveness of the parametrization affects the cost function. We analytically show that the more expressive the parametrization is, the more the cost function will tend to concentrate around a value that depends both on the chosen observable and on the number of qubits used. For this, we initially obtain a relationship between the expressiveness of the parametrization and the mean value of the cost function. Afterwards, we relate the expressivity of the parametrization with the variance of the cost function. Finally, we show some numerical simulation results that confirm our theoretical-analytical predictions. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first time that these two important aspects of quantum neural networks are explicitly connected.

In this study, we present the design, synthesis, and utilization of a covalent triazine framework (CTF) formed by the condensation of , , -tris(4-(aminomethyl)benzyl)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triamine and 2,4,6-tris(4-formylphenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine on which silica is immobilized (TPT-TAT/silica) as an innovative catalyst for porphyrins synthesis. Under solvothermal conditions, the condensation of triamine and trialdehyde precursors led to the formation of a covalent triazine framework (CTF) with a high nitrogen content. The resulting CTF is characterized by its extensive porosity and elevated nitrogen levels, which are critical for the creation of catalytic active sites.

Objective: Extant imaging methods used for the proper identification of the parathyroid glands to prevent post-operative hypothyroidism associated with the resection of differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) are limited by factors such as low specificity, high cost, and technical complexity. This study, therefore, sought to investigate the efficacy of the immunocolloidal gold strip method combined with nanocarbon negative imaging tracing technology for parathyroid gland imaging during radical resection of DTC in elderly patients.
Methods: A total of 100 elderly patients with DTC were enrolled and randomly divided into two groups: the control group and the observation group.
