Drug-induced liver injury (DILI) is a rare but significant cause of acute liver failure, often challenging to diagnose due to its clinical similarity to other liver conditions. Since most drugs are metabolized by liver enzymes, the liver is at risk for hepatotoxicity. Although DILI has a low incidence in clinical practice, it remains a critical consideration for patients on potentially hepatotoxic medications.

Purpose: Isoniazid, a first-line antitubercular drug, is associated with nervous system adverse drug reactions such as seizures, peripheral neuropathy, and psychosis. This systematic review of case reports and case series aimed to characterize the demographic, social, and clinical factors associated with isoniazid-induced psychosis in patients with active tuberculosis (TB) and those who received isoniazid for latent TB infection (LTBI).
Methods: We comprehensively searched the Embase, PubMed, and Scopus databases to identify relevant studies published between the date of inception of the database and June 2024.

Background: Isoniazid-induced pancreatitis is a potentially serious adverse drug reaction, however, the frequency of its occurrence is unknown. We conducted a systematic review to explore this adverse drug reaction comprehensively.
Methods: We performed an advanced search in PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, Ovid, and Embase for studies that reported isoniazid-induced pancreatitis.

DRESS related to first-line antituberculosis drugs (ATD) is a challenging diagnosis. With a long-lasting combined treatment of 4-concomitantly administrated drugs, identification of the culprit drug remains difficult and may expose patients to treatment interruption and affect their outcome. A 42-year-old female, treated with isoniazid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide and ethambutol for multifocal tuberculosis, developed, 40 days later, hyperthermia, facial edema, cervical lymphadenopathy and generalized exanthema.
