A winking coronary sign refers to the partial collapse of an artery situated over the ventricular septal rupture during systole and refilling of the same during diastole, which is seen as phasic filling and disappearance of the arterial segment during coronary angiography. In this article, we discuss the case of a patient who reported to the emergency department of a tertiary care hospital in central India with myocardial infarction of the anterior wall. Two-dimensional echocardiography and coronary angiography revealed ventricular septal rupture. The patient was promptly managed by a percutaneous coronary angiography and interventricular septal device closure. Even after the defect closure, the winking coronary sign persisted on coronary angiography, and the patient was then discharged in stable condition.

Purpose Of Review: Our purpose was to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various noninvasive imaging modalities in the evaluation of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in patients with autoimmune rheumatic diseases (ARDs). The detailed knowledge of imaging modalities will facilitate the diagnosis and follow up of CVD in ARDs.
Recent Findings: Autoimmune Rheumatic Diseases (ARDs) are characterized by alterations in immunoregulatory system of the body.

Background Multimodality imaging is essential for personalized prognostic stratification in suspected coronary artery disease (CAD). Machine learning (ML) methods can help address this complexity by incorporating a broader spectrum of variables. Purpose To investigate the performance of an ML model that uses both stress cardiac MRI and coronary CT angiography (CCTA) data to predict major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in patients with newly diagnosed CAD.

Background: The mechanistic association between the hydraulic forces generated during contrast injection and the risk of coronary injury is poorly understood. In this study, we sought to evaluate whether contrast injections increase intracoronary pressures beyond resting levels and estimate the risk of hydraulic propagation of coronary dissections.
Methods: This is a prospective, single-arm, multicenter study that included patients with nonculprit, non-flow-limiting coronaries.

Background: The coronary atrial circulation is the network of vessels that supply blood to the atria, originating from the left circumflex and right coronary arteries. Current descriptions of this arterial system are based on anatomical studies with a limited number of patients, predominantly male. In addition, there is a lack of consensus its angiographic nomenclature.
