Many devices heavily rely on combinatorial material optimization. However, new material alloys are classically developed by studying only a fraction of giant chemical space, while many intermediate compositions remain unmade in light of the lack of methods to synthesize gapless material libraries. Here report a high-throughput all-in-one material platform to obtain and study compositionally-tunable alloys from solution is reported. This strategy is applied to make all Cs MA FA PbI perovskite alloys (MA and FA stand for methylammonium and formamidinium, respectively), in less than 10 min, on a single film, on which 520 unique alloys are then studied. Through stability mapping of all these alloys in air supersaturated with moisture, a range of targeted perovskites are found, which are then chosen to make efficient and stable solar cells in relaxed fabrication conditions, in ambient air. This all-in-one platform provides access to an unprecedented library of compositional space with no unmade alloys, and hence aids in a comprehensive accelerated discovery of efficient energy materials.

An elastocaloric thermal battery based on generative learning-designed phase-change alloys is developed to facilitate the efficient recycling of low-temperature waste heat. This battery stores thermal energy as latent heat in a phase-change alloy and releases it on demand through applied stress at ambient temperature. Alloy compositions and corresponding processing parameters, tailored to desired transformation characteristics, are efficiently discovered through a generative learning-enabled inverse design framework, which converts the hand-drawn target heat flow curve into tangible compositional and processing designs.

Anode-free all solid-state batteries (AF-ASSBs) employ "empty" current collector with three active interfaces that determine electrochemical stability; lithium metal - Solid electrolyte (SE) interphase (SEI-1), lithium - current collector interface, and collector - SE interphase (SEI-2). Argyrodite LiPSCl (LPSCl) solid electrolyte (SE) displays SEI-2 containing copper sulfides, formed even at open circuit. Bilayer of 140 nm magnesium/30 nm tungsten (Mg/W-Cu) controls the three interfaces and allows for state-of-the-art electrochemical performance in half-cells and fullcells.

Metastable, , kinetically favored but thermodynamically not stable, interstitial solid solutions of carbon in iron are well-understood. Carbon can occupy the interstitial atoms of the host metal, altering its properties. Alloying of the host metal results in the stabilization of the FeC phases, widening its application.

Through hydrogenation and N-N coupling, azobenzene can be produced via highly selective electrocatalytic nitrobenzene reduction, offering a mild, cost-effective, and sustainable industrial route. Inspired by the density functional theory calculations, the introduction of H* active NiP into CoP, which reduces the water dissociation energy barrier, optimizes H* adsorption, and moderates key intermediates' adsorption, is expected to assist its hydrogenation ability for one-step electrosynthesizing azobenzene. A self-supported NiCo@NiP/CoP nanorod array electrode was synthesized, featuring NiCo alloy nanoparticles within a NiP/CoP shell.

Background: Concurrent (STK11, KL) mutant non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLC) do not respond well to current immune checkpoint blockade therapies, however targeting major histocompatibility complex class I-related chain A or B (MICA/B), could pose an alternative therapeutic strategy through activation of natural killer (NK) cells.
Methods: Expression of NK cell activating ligands in NSCLC cell line and patient data were analyzed. Cell surface expression of MICA/B in NSCLC cell lines was determined through flow cytometry while ligand shedding in both patient blood and cell lines was determined through ELISA.
