Sb(iii)-Gum Arabic composite as a unique natural-based and nontoxic catalyst was synthesized and characterized by FT-IR, XRD, TGA, ICP, BET, EDX and mapping. A four-component reaction of phthalic anhydride, hydrazinium hydroxide, aldehyde, and dimedone has been carried out in the presence of Sb(iii)/Gum Arabic composite to synthesise 2-indazolo[2,1-] phthalazine triones. The advantages of the present protocol are the appropriate reaction times, eco-friendly nature and high yields.

Background: Minimally invasive dentistry is now becoming the forefront of restorative dentistry, involving less traumatic treatment protocols, conservation of tooth structure and surrounding tissues, enhancing the long-term survivability of treated teeth, and improving the overall quality of life for patients.
Objective: The current case report was conducted to evaluate acquiring deep subgingival interproximal carious lesions by the mean of thermacut bur gingivectomy, in terms of patient satisfaction through pain evaluation, Bleeding on Probing, Pocket Depth, Crestal Bone Level evaluation, and restoration evaluation using modified USPHS criteria.
Material And Methods: A patient with a deep proximal cavity in the posterior tooth was thoroughly examined and underwent Thermacut Bur Gingivectomy (TBG) after caries removal followed by direct resin composite restoration of the prepared cavity.

Objectives: To assess the validity of light-induced and laser-induced fluorescence devices compared to the visual-tactile method for detecting secondary caries around resin composite restorations.
Materials And Methods: The study included 20 participants with 30 resin-composite restored teeth. Restorations' margins were examined using three diagnostic methods: the visual-tactile method (FDI criteria), the light-induced fluorescence camera (VistaCam iX), and the laser-induced fluorescence device (DIAGNOdent pen), and the reference was visual inspection after removal of defective restorations.

Polyphenols, natural compounds abundant in phenolic structures, have received widespread attention due to their antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anticancer properties, making them valuable for biomedical applications. However, the green synthesis of polyphenol-based materials with economical and environmentally friendly strategies is of great significance. In this study, a multifunctional wound dressing was achieved by introducing polyphenol-based materials of copper phosphate-tannic acid with a flower-like structure (Cu-TA NFs), which show the reactive oxygen species scavenging performance.

In sustainable construction and packaging, the development of novel bio-based materials is crucial, driving a re-evaluation of traditional components. Lightweight, biodegradable materials, including xerogels, have great potential in architectural and packaging applications. However, reinforcing these materials to improve their mechanical strength remains a challenge.

Pomegranate seed oil (PSO) is highly valued in the functional food industry due to its rich fatty acid content and associated health benefits. However, its high degree of unsaturation makes it susceptible to rapid degradation when exposed to oxygen and light. This study investigates the encapsulation of PSO at 15% w/w using different blends of gum Arabic (GA) and maltodextrin (MD) (1:0, 0:1, 1:1, 3:1, and 1:3) to determine optimal formulations for enhanced stability and functional quality.
