When developing general-purpose robot software components, we often lack complete knowledge of the specific contexts in which they will be executed. This limits our ability to make predictions, including our ability to detect program bugs statically. Since running a robot is an expensive task, finding errors at runtime can prolong the debugging loop or even cause safety hazards.

Functional Role of Odorant-Binding Proteins in Response to Sex Pheromone Component 8-14:Ac in (Busck).

Insects

November 2024

Shaanxi Province Key Laboratory of Jujube, College of Life Science, Yan'an University, Yan'an 716000, China.

The plum fruit moth (PFM), , and the oriental fruit moth (OFM), , are closely related fruit moth species that severely damage fruit trees in Rosaceae. Both species share common primary sex pheromone components 8-12:Ac and 8-12:Ac. The secondary sex pheromone components of PFMs consist of 8-12:OH, 8-14:Ac, and 10-14:Ac, while those of OFMs include 8-12:OH and 12:OH.

Purpose: Online adaptive radiation therapy (oART) treatment planning requires evaluating the temporal robustness of reference plans and anticipating the potential changes during treatment courses that may even lead to risks unique to the adaptive workflow. This study conducted a risk analysis of the cone beam computed tomography guided adaptive workflow and is the first to assess an adaptive-specific reference planning review that mitigates risk in the planning process to prevent events and treatment deficiencies during adaptation.

Methods And Materials: A quality management team of medical physicists, residents, physicians, and radiation therapists performed a fault tree analysis and failure mode and effects analysis.

The choice of temporal resolution has high importance in ecological modeling, which can greatly affect the identification of the main drivers of an organism's distribution, considering the spatiotemporal dynamism of environmental predictors as well as organisms' abundance. The present study aimed to identify the spatiotemporal distribution patterns of Caspian Kutum, , along the southern coast of the Caspian Sea, north of Iran, evaluating multiple temporal resolutions of data. The boosted regression trees (BRT) method was used to model fish catch distribution using a set of environmental predictors.
