In this paper, the finite-time cluster synchronization problem is addressed for complex dynamical networks (CDNs) with cluster characteristics under false data injection (FDI) attacks. A type of FDI attack is taken into consideration to reflect the data manipulation that controllers in CDNs may suffer. In order to improve the synchronization effect while reducing the control cost, a new periodic secure control (PSC) strategy is proposed in which the set of pinning nodes changes periodically. The aim of this paper is to derive the gains of the periodic secure controller such that the synchronization error of the CDN remains at a certain threshold in finite time with the presence of external disturbances and false control signals simultaneously. Through considering the periodic characteristics of PSC, a sufficient condition is obtained to guarantee the desired cluster synchronization performance, based on which the gains of the periodic cluster synchronization controllers are acquired by resolving an optimization problem proposed in this paper. A numerical case is carried out to validate the cluster synchronization performance of the PSC strategy under cyber attacks.

: Epilepsy is a group of disorders characterized by a cluster of clinical and EEG signs leading to the formation of abnormal synchronous excitation of neurons in the brain. It is one of the most common neurological disorders worldwide; and is characterized by aberrant expression patterns; both at the level of matrix transcripts and at the level of regulatory RNA sequences. Aberrant expression of a number of microRNAs can mark a particular epileptic syndrome; which will improve the quality of differential diagnosis.

Background And Objective: It has been believed that polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (VT) such as torsades de pointes (TdP) seen in patients with long QT syndromes is triggered by creating early afterdepolarization (EAD)-mediated triggered activity (TA). Although the mechanisms creating the TA have been studied intensively, characteristics of the arrhythmogenic (torsadogenic) substrates that link EAD developments to TA formation are still not well understood.
Methods: Computer simulations of excitation propagation in a homogenous two-dimensional ventricular tissue with an anisotropic conduction property were performed to characterize torsadogenic substrates that potentially form TA.

We consider the effect of the emergence of chimera states in a system of coexisting stationary and flying-through in potential particles with an internal degree of freedom determined by the phase. All particles tend to an equilibrium state with a small number of potential wells, which leads to the emergence of a stationary chimera. An increase in the number of potential wells leads to the emergence of particles flying-through along the medium, the phases of which form a moving chimera.

In this work, bimetallic organic frameworks NH-MOFs(Fe, Ti) with different Fe/Ti molar ratios were prepared by a hydrothermal method for the synchronous redox transformation of Cr(VI) and As(III). These results showed that NH-MIL-125(Ti) was less effective in the photocatalytic removal of Cr(VI), whereas NH-MIL-88B(Fe) was less effective in the photocatalytic oxidative removal of As(III). Due to the introduction of Fe, the photocatalytic reduction removal of Cr(VI) (23.

In nature, nontoxic protein amyloids serve as dynamic, protein-specific depots, exemplified by both bacterial inclusion bodies and secretory granules from the endocrine system. Inspired by these systems, chemically defined and regulatory-compliant artificial protein microgranules have been developed for clinical applications as endocrine-like protein repositories. This has been achieved by exploiting the reversible coordination between histidine residues and divalent cations such as Zn, that promotes protein-protein interactions.
