Background: Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is an inflammatory disease characterized by persistent immune dysregulation, which presents considerable limitations in current medical therapy.

Objects: This study investigates a supramolecular gel (PSPD), which aims to minimize systemic adverse effects through local injection, provide long-lasting anti-inflammatory effects, and modulate the mucosal immune microenvironment.

Methods: The properties of PSPD were evaluated using rheological experiments.

Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy is effective in the treatment of patients with diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL), even those with high-grade disease. However, it has a unique safety profile, including cytokine-release syndrome (CRS) and immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS), and robust management of these events are important to maximize benefits. The aim of this vodcast is to outline the management of a patient receiving CAR T-cell therapy for relapsed/refractory (r/r) DLBCL.

Background: Apomorphine is a dopaminergic candidate therapy to improve recovery in patients with prolonged disorders of consciousness (PDoC). Behavioural improvements were previously described in non-controlled case series, but its efficacy and neural mechanisms remain largely unknown. This open-label controlled study using multimodal outcome measures investigates the action of apomorphine in severely brain-injured patients.

Introduction: Chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) is a long-lasting inflammatory condition affecting the sinonasal mucosa, which is likely triggered by a dysfunctional immune response. Vitamin D is recognized as an immunomodulator influencing both innate and adaptive immunity. Recently, this mechanism of action has sparked interest regarding the possible role of vitamin D in CRS pathogenesis and/or course of the disease.

Oil spills from pipeline accidents can have long-lasting health effects on residents of polluted regions. Assessing the potential health risk of these accidents is crucial for effective environmental health management. This study analyzed the concentration of 2-OHNAP in urine and hair as biomarkers of PAHs exposure among the people living in a region with frequent oil pipeline incident in Iran.
