Diaphragmatic ruptures rarely occur in isolation, a pathology in paediatric that is difficult to diagnose and can lead to serious complications if left untreated. We present a rare case of isolated right diaphragmatic rupture with liver herniation that was successfully repaired, along with a literature review. A 1-year-old female child was admitted at Emergency Department after being involved in a motor traffic crash as a passenger. Based on clinical presentation and radiological findings, we diagnosed a diaphragmatic rapture, laparotomy was performed in which we found a right isolated diaphragmatic rupture, which was repaired primarily. After re-evaluations, the patient was discharged day 16 postoperative. It is essentially important to evaluate the level of organ damage thoroughly for making a timely informed decision in management paediatric chest trauma.

46,XY differences/disorders of sex development (DSD) are genetically heterogeneous conditions characterized by atypical development of the reproductive system. MYRF, a gene encoding a transcription factor, has been identified as a potential causative gene for DSD and cardiac urogenital syndrome (CUGS). This study aims to delineate the clinical manifestations of patients with 46,XY DSD and MYRF mutations, encompassing both from our cohort and cases reported in the literature.

Background: To retrospectively investigate the developmental outcomes at 3 years of age in patients with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) using a multicenter collaborative research approach.
Methods: We evaluated patients with CDH and no other malformations born between 2010 and 2016 in seven facilities in the Japanese CDH Research Group. The developmental quotient (DQ) at 3 years of age was evaluated using the Kyoto Scale of Psychological Development 2001, the most standardized scale in Japan.

Lung tumors can be obscured in x-rays, preventing accurate and robust localization. To improve lung conspicuity for image-guided procedures, we isolate the lungs in the anterior-posterior (AP) x-rays using a lung extraction network (LeX-net) that virtually removes overlapping thoracic structures, including ribs, diaphragm, liver, heart, and trachea.73 965 thoracic 3DCTs and 106 thoracic 4DCTs were included.
