We measure the quantum efficiency (QE) of individual dibenzoterrylene (DBT) molecules embedded in -dichlorobenzene at cryogenic temperatures. To achieve this, we combine two distinct methods based on the maximal photon emission and on the power required to saturate the zero-phonon line to compensate for uncertainties in some key system parameters. We find that the outcomes of the two approaches are in good agreement for reasonable values of the parameters involved, reporting a large fraction of molecules with QE values above 50%, with some exceeding 70%. Furthermore, we observe no correlation between the observed lower bound on the QE and the lifetime of the molecule, suggesting that most of the molecules have a QE exceeding the established lower bound. This confirms the suitability of DBT for quantum optics experiments. In light of previous reports of low QE values at ambient conditions, our results hint at the possibility of a strong temperature dependence of the QE.

Half-metallic magnetism, characterized by metallic behavior in one spin direction and semiconducting or insulating behavior in the opposite spin direction, is an intriguing and highly useful physical property for advanced spintronics because it allows for the complete realization of 100% spin-polarized current. Particularly, half-metallic antiferromagnetism is recognized as an excellent candidate for the development of highly efficient spintronic devices due to its zero net magnetic moment combined with 100% spin polarization, which results in lower energy losses and eliminates stray magnetic fields compared to half-metallic ferromagnets. However, the synthesis and characterization of half-metallic antiferromagnets have not been reported until now as the theoretically proposed materials require a delicate and challenging approach to fabricate such complex compounds.

Although MoSe-based photodetectors have achieved excellent performance, the ultrafast photoresponse has limited their application as an optoelectronic synapse. In this paper, the enhancement of the rhodamine 6G molecule on the memory time of MoSe is reported. It is found that the memory time of monolayer MoSe can be obviously enhanced after assembly with rhodamine 6G exhibiting synaptic characteristics in comparison to pristine MoSe.

Herein, we first report a photocatalytic OCM using CO2 as a soft oxidant for C2H6 production under mild conditions, where an efficient photocatalyst with unique interface sites is constructed to facilitate CO2 adsorption and activation, while concurrently boosting CH4 dissociation. As a prototype, the Au quantum dots anchored on oxygen-deficient TiO2 nanosheets are fabricated, where the Au-Vo-Ti interface sites for CO2 adsorption and activation are collectively disclosed by in situ Kelvin probe force microscopy, quasi in situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and theoretical calculations. Compared with single metal site, the Au-Vo-Ti interface sites exhibit the lower CO2 adsorption energy and decrease the energy barrier of the *CO2 hydrogenation step from 1.
