Introduction Emerging evidence suggests an association between obesity and Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders (FGIDs). Childhood obesity and FGIDs share many common features, such as high prevalence in the pediatric population, risk factors related to diet and lifestyle, gut microbiota impairments, and psychological distress. This narrative review aims to summarize the main evidence regarding FGIDs in childhood obesity, with a specific focus on the role of diet and its impact on the microbiota.

Introduction: Although neoadjuvant systemic treatment for non-metastatic breast cancer has gained ground during the past decade, there is no compelling evidence that it improves overall survival compared to primary tumor resection and adjuvant treatment. At the same time, the approach to responders to neoadjuvant treatment in the axilla is evolving.

A 51-year-old man presented with chest tightness, exertional dyspnea, and occasional chest pain for 2 years. The patient visited his local hospital initially, and CT scan revealed a ground glass opacity (GGO) located in the right upper lobe (Fig 1A). He was diagnosed as having pulmonary infection and treated with levofloxacin for 12 days.
