With the advancement of deep learning models nowadays, they have successfully applied in the semi-supervised medical image segmentation where there are few annotated medical images and a large number of unlabeled ones. A representative approach in this regard is the semi-supervised method based on consistency regularization, which improves model training by imposing consistency constraints (perturbations) on unlabeled data. However, the perturbations in this kind of methods are often artificially designed, which may introduce biases unfavorable to the model learning in the handling of medical image segmentation.

Background: It is well known that deterioration is a big concern in the food supply chain. The problem is more serious in handling of traditional foods in developing country such as Ethiopia, due to the limited knowledge about the optimum processing, packaging and storage conditions.
Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effect of packaging material and storage condition on the shelf life of Ethiopian traditional paste.

In modern biological microscopy, the explosion of data volume and complexity highlights the urgent need for specialised data management support roles. While traditional microscopy focuses on visual data presentation, the rapid increase in big data acquisition and data mining demands advanced handling and analysis. This gap underscores the need for "dry lab microscopists" or data experts skilled in microscopy data management, software interoperability, and AI-driven solutions.

Keloids are characterized by excessive growth of fibrous tissue resulting from abnormal wound-healing processes. They may lead to functional impairments, aesthetic deformities, pruritus, and a decreased quality of life. Various therapies, including intralesional corticosteroid injections, cryotherapy, laser therapy, surgical excision, and radiotherapy, have been used to manage keloids, but the recurrence rates remain high.

Summary: Time-lapse 3D imaging is fundamental for studying biological processes but requires software able to handle terabytes of voxel data. Although many multidimensional viewing applications exist, they mostly lack support for heterogeneous voxel counts, datatypes, and modalities in a single timeline. Open Chrono-Morph Viewer provides a straightforward graphical user interface to quickly investigate multi-timescale datasets represented as separate volume files in the common NRRD format for compatibility between toolchains.
