Collections of thomisid spiders by amateur and professional arachnologists in China have led to the discovery of some interesting crab spiders (Thomisidae). Two new species in two genera of thomisid spiders are described and illustrated with photographs and SEMs: Liu & Yao, (♀) and Liu & Yao, (♀). The previously unknown males of Tang & Li, 2010 and Liu, 2022 were also collected and are described for the first time. The genus Simon, 1884 is reported for the first time from Vietnam. The new species is also recorded for only the second time from the Asian mainland. Distributions of all these species are mapped.

Limited data exists concerning the fertility desires of young people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA) in China, making it difficult to develop appropriate reproductive health service policies and interventions for them. Extensive fieldwork was carried out from April to May 2021 in 10 selected survey sites across five provinces, targeting all young men aged between 18 and 24 years living with HIV. The association between independent variables and fertility desires was determined using Chi-square tests and Multivariate binary logistic regression models.

Background: Current guidelines recommend application of the 99th percentile to determine the cut-off value on at least 120 healthy donors regardless of sex for lupus anticoagulant (LA) ratio of each step. However, a statistically significant difference between the sexes has been found for LA ratio recently.
Objectives: To clarify whether this sex difference in dilute Russell's viper venom time (DRVVT) exists in various detection systems and the necessity of setting sex-specific cut-off values.
