Background And Purpose: The aim was to estimate the cost of the external beam radiotherapy (EBRT) in public health care centers in Catalonia (Spain), according to the ESTRO-HERO costing model for 2018.
Materials And Methods: Personnel, equipment, and activity data from 2018 from the 11 RT centers were used, incorporating European mean values adapted to the Catalan context. Secondly, EBRT costs were estimated, incorporating 2023 fractionation technique and scheme usage percentages.

Aims: Endometrial cancer (EC) is the most common gynecological cancer worldwide and its incidence is rising. The cornerstone of its management is surgical treatment with nodal staging. A monocentric study investigating the potential of the molecular biology method of one-step nucleic acid amplification (OSNA) in sentinel lymph node (SLN) analysis was conducted at our institution between April 2016 and January 2018.

Aims: Intracavitary brachytherapy alone covers a limited target volume; however, intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy (IC/IS) can increase the dose coverage. We aim to assess the factors that impact D90 high-risk clinical target volume (HR-CTV) dose. We also assess clinical outcomes and toxicities for 3D image-based brachytherapy.

Purpose: Since the last update of GEC-ESTRO (Groupe Européen de Curiethérapie - European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology) recommendations for head and neck (HN) brachytherapy in 2017, advances in understanding and management of HN cancers have influenced brachytherapy. We conducted a scoping review to depict the evolution of HN brachytherapy research and practice, and identify emerging topics since the previously published guidelines.
Material And Methods: Systematic literature search was performed in PubMed, EBSCOhost, Europe PMC, and Google Scholar databases for articles on HN brachytherapy from 2017 onwards; the search was last done on June 29, 2023.

Since the last FIGO classification in 2009, numerous studies and recommendations have contributed to improving the management of endometrial cancer. The introduction of molecular classification (including POLE, MMR, and P53 status) has enabled better categorization of these cancers by defining specific patient groups, thus allowing for more tailored surgical management and adjuvant treatment. The data and analyses on molecular and histological classification developed in the 2021 guidelines from the European Societies of Gynecologic Oncology (ESGO), Radiation Therapy and Oncology (ESTRO), and Anatomical Pathology (ESP) have been utilized to develop the new 2023 FIGO classification for endometrial cancer.
