Background: Disparities in sexually transmitted infections (STI) including human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) among sexual minority boys and young men are substantial. Effective HIV and STI prevention programs that include access to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) medication do not consistently include younger sexual minority men. Maximizing muscular performance to improve upper limb strength and power can be advantageous in preparing kickboxers for training and competition. The objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of isometric and isotonic upper limb post-activation performance enhancement (PAPE) strategies on the maximal strength of young men kickboxers' upper limbs, assessed through handgrip strength (HG) and the chest medicine ball throw test (CMBT). Fifty-three amateur men kickboxers, aged between 16 and 23, participated voluntarily in this regional-level study.

Background: Case management is a structured, client centered approach that incorporates various strategies such as employing lay counsellors to provide psychosocial and adherence support to strengthen antiretroviral (ART) adherence, improve retention in care and viral load (VL) suppression. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of case management on VL in clients enrolled due to non-suppression (> = 50 copies/ml) in Capricorn District, Limpopo Province.
