Background And Objectives: Neurology residents serve as frontline teachers for junior trainees but often lack formal training in medical education. We developed a novel longitudinal curriculum to enhance the teaching skills and educational leadership of residents interested in pursuing careers as clinician-educators.
Methods And Curriculum Description: We developed and piloted a Neurology Clinician-Educator Program (NCEP) with the following goals: (1) improve resident satisfaction with opportunities to develop teaching skills, (2) improve resident satisfaction with opportunities to transition into a clinician-educator role after training, and (3) enhance resident teaching skills using evidence-based strategies.

Different forms of phosphorylated tau (p-tau) have shown strong potential as Alzheimer's disease (AD) biomarkers in both cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and plasma. We hypothesized that p-tau proteoforms simultaneously phosphorylated at two different sites may have an increased diagnostic value compared with tau phosphorylated at a single site. Here, we developed two immunoassays detecting CSF and plasma tau simultaneously phosphorylated at both T181 and T231 (p-tau181&231) and at T217 and T231 (p-tau217&231).

Multiple sclerosis (MS), a debilitating autoimmune disorder targeting the central nervous system (CNS), is marked by relentless demyelination and inflammation. Clinically, it presents in three distinct forms: relapsing-remitting MS (RRMS), primary progressive MS (PPMS), and secondary progressive MS (SPMS). While disease-modifying therapies (DMTs) offer some relief to people with RRMS, treatment options for progressive MS (pMS) remain frustratingly inadequate.

Disruptions to brain networks, measured using structural (sMRI), diffusion (dMRI), or functional (fMRI) MRI, have been shown in people with multiple sclerosis (PwMS), highlighting the relevance of regions in the core of the connectome but yielding mixed results depending on the studied connectivity domain. Using a multilayer network approach, we integrated these three modalities to portray an enriched representation of the brain's core-periphery organization and explore its alterations in PwMS. In this retrospective cross-sectional study, we selected PwMS and healthy controls with complete multimodal brain MRI acquisitions from 13 European centers within the MAGNIMS network.

Background: We evaluated comprehension and application of the 2015 neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) criteria core elements by neurologists in Latin America (LATAM) who routinely diagnose and care for NMOSD patients by (i) identifying typical/suggestive NMOSD syndromes, (ii) detecting typical MRI NMOSD lesions and meeting MRI dissemination in space (DIS) criteria, and (iii) evaluating historical symptoms suggestive of NMOSD.
Methods: We conducted an anonymous, voluntary, self-administered web- and case-based survey cross-sectional study from October 2023 to January 2024 of neurologists identified through the LACTRIMS database. Questions were presented first through iterative clinical cases or imaging, followed by questions directly evaluating comprehension of definitions.
