Objectives: To present cases of rapid onset obesity with hypothalamic dysfunction, hypoventilation, and autonomic dysregulation (ROHHAD) and discuss management insights.
Methods: Case records of patients fulfilling the criteria for ROHHAD and presenting to the Pediatric Endocrinology Division of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, between July 2019 and June 2024 were reviewed for clinical features, treatments, and outcomes.

Subcapsular liver haematoma in pregnancy, a rare and life-threatening condition, is more commonly associated with severe preeclampsia and haemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, and low platelet count (HELLP) syndrome. The common presenting symptom of subcapsular haematoma is acute-onset upper abdominal pain in patients suffering from preeclampsia; shock is the presenting feature in severe cases of rupture. Here we have discussed a case of subcapsular haematoma associated with HELLP syndrome in a patient who responded to conservative management.

Aims: Diabetic chorea refers to sudden involuntary movements developing in people with diabetes mellitus and is known to occur mainly in those with severe hyperglycemia. We conducted a questionnaire survey of case-reporting facilities in Japan to elucidate their clinical characteristics.
Methods: We searched the PubMed and Ichushi databases for case reports published from January 1, 2012, to December 31, 2017, using "diabetes" and "chorea" as keywords, and sent a questionnaire to the reporting institutions.

Atraumatic acute myelopathy caused by idiopathic disc herniation is rare. This case presents a 47-year-old male with a sudden onset of severe neck pain and weakness upon waking that progressively worsened. His rapidly progressive myelopathy led to an MRI of the cervical spine, revealing severe spinal canal stenosis at the C6-C7 level due to a large disc herniation deforming the spinal cord.

A 40-year-old gravida 7 para 4+2 lady who was 14 weeks pregnant presented with a three-day history of sudden-onset flashes of light associated with a superonasal visual field defect on her right eye. She had two prior miscarriages that occurred in the second and third trimesters. Previous serological tests for antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) were normal.
