Child welfare caseworkers typically have high turnover rates, and little is known about how to increase their job satisfaction. Utilizing structural equation modeling, this study investigates the connections between empowerment, leadership, learning culture, physical environment, and job satisfaction among social workers in child welfare organizations. We employ a dataset from a comprehensive organizational health assessment survey of 2801 individuals to analyze the direct and indirect effects of empowerment variables on job satisfaction, as well as the influence of leadership, learning culture, and the caseworkers' physical environment.

Persistent issues such as low service utilization, coupled with poor quality, fragmented care, and ineffective referral systems hinder progress. Traditional engagement with local governments often relies on financial and human resources from international or local partners, leading to direct implementation by organizations, which can hinder sustainability. While some organizations include sustainability indicators, few focus on transferring technical and financial ownership to governments. The Challenge Initiative (TCI) uses a phased coaching model-lead, assist, observe, and monitor-to build local government capacity for scaling family planning (FP) and adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health (AYSRH) programs.

Background: ApoE4 is the strongest genetic risk factor for late onset Alzheimer's Disease (AD). However, ApoE4 has also been suggested to exhibit antagonistic pleiotropy, a phenomenon by which some allelic variations of a gene promote fitness during certain periods of life but may be detrimental in others. Previous work suggests that ApoE4 carriers exhibit superior performance on executive function tasks in early and middle age, while later in life (>70 years) ApoE4 carriers experience greater cognitive decline across multiple domains.

Background: Positron emission tomography (PET) tau tracer PI-2620 frequently shows off-target meningeal binding (Figure 1). Of standard regions of interest, only lateral parietal (LP) is contaminated by this. We compare the standardized uptake value ratio (SUVR) in the LP before and after eroding the LP mask to remove meningeal contamination.
