Uptake of Ga-prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) in various nonprostatic tumors is well documented in the literature. We present a case of a gastrointestinal stromal tumor, incidentally detected on Ga-PSMA positron emission tomography/computed tomography imaging in a patient who underwent imaging for a suspected recurrence of carcinoma prostate.

Background: Recently, several devices exploiting the near-infrared autofluorescence (NIR-AF) of parathyroid glands (PGs) have been developed. Nevertheless, their impact on both preserving PGs from inadvertent surgical dissection and on post-surgical hypoparathyroidism (hypoPTH) is controversial.
Methods: A retrospective study of 845 patients undergoing thyroid surgery in 2 academic tertiary centres was conducted.

Objectives: Contrast enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) now joins the ranks of CT and MRI for noninvasive diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). CEUS LI-RADS provides greater than 95% specificity for diagnosis within LR-5. Unlike CT/MRI, CEUS is nodule based.

Aneurysms of the interventricular membranous septum are a rare anatomical feature that can be detected incidentally on computed tomography or echocardiography. Such aneurysms can pose challenges in the treatment of patients with aortic valve stenosis. A case series of 2 patients with membranous septal aneurysms treated successfully with current-generation balloon-expandable and self-expanding transcatheter heart valves is presented here.

Objectives: For emergency department (ED) patients, lung cancer may be detected early through incidental lung nodules (ILNs) discovered on chest CTs. However, there are significant errors in the communication and follow-up of incidental findings on ED imaging, particularly due to unstructured radiology reports. Natural language processing (NLP) can aid in identifying ILNs requiring follow-up, potentially reducing errors from missed follow-up.

BACKGROUND The thyroglossal duct cyst, which develops from the midline migratory tract between the foramen cecum and the anatomic location of the thyroid, is the most prevalent congenital abnormality of the neck, accounting for about 70% of all cervical neck masses in children and 7% in adults. Only up to 1% of these abnormalities contain malignant thyroid tissue, with 90% of those cases being papillary thyroid carcinoma. Thyroglossal duct cyst is rarely linked to carcinoma.
