The incidence of cesarean section is dramatically increasing worldwide, whereas the training opportunities for obstetrician/gynecologists to manage complex cesarean section appear to be decreasing. This may be attributed to changing working hours directives and the increasing use of laparoscopy for gynecological surgical procedures, including in gynecological oncology. Various situations can create surgical difficulties during a cesarean section; however, two of the most frequent are complications from previous cesarean (myometrial defects, with or without placental intrusion and peritoneal adhesions) and the high risk of postpartum hemorrhage (uterine overdistension, abnormal placentation, uterine fibroids).

Background And Objective: Though several clinicopathological features are identified as prognostic indicators, potentially prognostic radiomic models are expected to preoperatively and noninvasively predict survival for HCC. Traditional radiomic models are lacking in a consideration for intratumoral regional heterogeneity. The study aimed to establish and validate the predictive power of multiple habitat radiomic models in predicting prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

Objective: This study aimed to assess postoperative intracranial pressure in patients with clinical and/or radiological features of idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) undergoing endoscopic endonasal surgery for primary cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak repair.
Methods: Data was prospectively collected from 9 patients diagnosed with CSF nasal leaks who underwent corrective endonasal surgery between January 1, 2021, and October 31, 2022. Postoperative intracranial pressure was measured via lumbar puncture at least one month after surgery.

Objective: Accurate preoperative evaluation of myometrial invasion (MI) is essential for treatment decisions in endometrial cancer (EC). However, the diagnostic accuracy of commonly utilized magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques for this assessment exhibits considerable variability. This study aims to enhance preoperative discrimination of absence or presence of MI by developing and validating a multimodal deep learning radiomics (MDLR) model based on MRI.
