Mendelian randomization (MR) was employed to investigate the causal relationships between immune cell phenotypes, hyperthyroidism (HD), and potential metabolic mediators. In this study, we acquired 731 immune cell phenotypes from genome-wide association studies (GWAS) (n = 18,622), HD data from the research by Handan Melike Dönertaş et al. (3,731 cases, 480,867 controls), and aggregated statistics of 1,400 blood metabolites from UK Biobank (n = 115,078).

Background: Due to its strong immunogenicity and tumor specificity, neoplastic antigen has emerged as an immunotherapy target with wide therapeutic prospect and clinical application value. Anti-programmed death-1 (PD-1) antibodies reinvigorate T cell-mediated antitumor immunity. So, we conducted single-arm trial to assess the safety and efficacy of PD-1 blockade(Camrelizumab)-activated neoantigen specific cellular therapy (aNASCT) on advanced relapsed non-small lung cancer(NSCLC)(ClinicalTrials.

Protective immunity to malaria depends on acquisition of parasite-specific antibodies, with Plasmodium falciparum erythrocyte membrane protein 1 (PfEMP1) being one of the most important target antigens. The effector functions of PfEMP1-specific IgG include inhibition of infected erythrocyte (IE) sequestration and opsonization of IEs for cell-mediated destruction. IgG glycosylation modulates antibody functionality, with increased affinity to FcγRIIIa for IgG lacking fucose in the Fc region (Fc-afucosylation).

Tumor cell-intrinsic signaling pathways can drastically affect the tumor immune microenvironment, promoting tumor progression and resistance to immunotherapy by excluding immune-cell populations from the tumor. Several tumor cell-intrinsic pathways have been reported to modulate myeloid-cell and T-cell infiltration creating "cold" tumors. However, clinical evidence suggests that excluding cytotoxic T cells from the tumor core also mediates immune evasion.

Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are important mediators of intercellular communication in the tumour microenvironment. The cytokine transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) facilitates cancer progression via EVs secreted by cancer cells, which act on recipient cells in the tumour microenvironment. However, the mechanisms of how TGF-β affects cancer cell EV release and composition are incompletely understood.
