Introduction: The official implementation of pharmaceutical-grade cannabis raw materials for medicinal use has permitted doctors to prescribe and pharmacists to prepare cannabis-based formulations. The objective of the pharmaceutical development and manufacturing process optimization work was to propose a suppository formulation containing doses of 25 mg and 50 mg of tetra-hydrocannabinol (∆-9-THC) as an alternative to existing inhalable or orally administered formulations. The formulation could be used for rectal or vaginal administration, thereby providing dosage control in the treatment of endometriosis and other conditions involving pain.

In recent years, a significant rise in international sudden risk events has resulted in impacts and disruptions to maritime supply chains (MSC). The resilience of maritime supply chains has garnered attention from the academic, industrial, and government sectors. The paper proposes a methodological framework based on the structural equation model (SEM), Necessary Condition Analysis (NCA), fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA), and utilizes questionnaire data from the maritime industry in China to evaluate the resilience in MSC.

Motor behaviours, like where to step and which path to walk, rely on gaze shifts to gather visual information necessary to decide the next action. Factors influencing both gaze and walking decisions are poorly understood. Here we had people choose between two paths to determine how a person's belief in their ability to walk across different terrains (i.

This paper compares three automated path-planning algorithms based on publicly available data. The algorithms include a Dijkstra-based algorithm (DBA) that improves on the straightforward application of Dijkstra's algorithm, which restricts the path only to the grid edges. We present a fair and comprehensive comparison method for evaluating multiple algorithms-DBA, the Fast Marching Method (FMM), and a great circle-based method.
