Background: MPOX (Monkeypox) is a zoonotic disease of increasing global concern due to its re-emergence and potential for human-to-human transmission. Effective public health interventions rely on understanding socio-demographic determinants of knowledge and perceptions of the disease. This study aimed to investigate MPOX-related knowledge and concerns among a diverse sample in Türkiye, identifying key factors influencing knowledge levels.

Introduction: SRS for the treatment of limited brain metastases (BM) is widely accepted, but there are still limitations in the management of numerous BM. Frameless single-isocenter multitarget SRS is a novel technique that allows for rapid treatment delivery to multiple BM. We report our preliminary clinical, dosimetric, and patient´s shifts outcomes with this technique.

Bearing characteristics and damage rules of regenerated rock mass.

Sci Rep

Dazhu Coal and Electricity Group of Sichuan, Xiaohezui Coal Mine, Dazhou, 6635000, China.

This study investigates the bearing characteristics and damage evolution of regenerative rock masses formed under varying geological conditions through uniaxial loading tests, numerical simulations, and theoretical derivations. Regenerative rock mass samples with different water-cement ratios and cementing materials were prepared, and the mechanical behavior during the loading process was analyzed. The results indicate that the secondary damage process can be divided into three stages: pre-peak, weakening, and friction.

Dual-view global and local category-attentive domain alignment for unsupervised conditional adversarial domain adaptation.

Neural Netw

January 2025

School of Computer Engineering and Science, Shanghai University, Shanghai, 200444, China. Electronic address:

Conditional adversarial domain adaptation (CADA) is one of the most commonly used unsupervised domain adaptation (UDA) methods. CADA introduces multimodal information to the adversarial learning process to align the distributions of the labeled source domain and unlabeled target domain with mode match. However, CADA provides wrong multimodal information for challenging target features due to utilizing classifier predictions as the multimodal information, leading to distribution mismatch and less robust domain-invariant features.

Purpose: Despite the concerning growth in the number of children with preventable or treatable causes of blindness, parents and/or children often do not notice many eye problems due to the lack of adequate knowledge about them. Considering the lack of updated relevant literature on this topic, this study aimed to gain insights into parental perspectives regarding children's eye health and the barriers that prevent them from promptly addressing these issues.

Methods: A cross-sectional online survey was randomly distributed to Saudi parents of children aged 0-18 years from February 2022 to April 2022.
