Acute ischemic stroke, a medical emergency caused by reduced cerebral blood flow, results in brain cell damage. While commonly associated with older individuals, strokes can also occur in young and middle-aged adults, posing significant socio-economic and health challenges due to the long-term impact of the condition. Traditional dental research paradigms often lack relevance in marginalized cultural contexts due to inherent biases and misalignment with local values. For Pacific Islanders, this issue is pronounced, as they face serious oral health challenges while remaining underrepresented in scientific discourse. In response, the authors developed the Pacific Islands Dental Research Framework (PIDRF), a culturally informed, community-driven model that directly addresses these limitations in conventional Western approaches.

Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the perceived barriers faced by physicians in Maharashtra when recommending a millet-based diet for diabetic patients. The objectives were to identify the challenges physicians encounter in promoting millet consumption, assess their knowledge and beliefs about millet-based diets, and evaluate the current resources and practices used in dietary counseling for diabetes management.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 68 physicians specializing in diabetes care in Maharashtra.

Objective: This study aims to investigate the effect of Gallic Acid (GA) on the alleviation of chemotherapy-induced bone marrow suppression, with a comparison to Diyu sheng bai tablets (DYSB) and RhG-CSF.
Methods: A mouse model of bone marrow suppression was established in BALB/c mice using intraperitoneal injections of cyclophosphamide (CTX). All procedures were performed after obtaining ethical clearance from the institutional animal ethics committee.
