The problem of asynchronous fault detection filtering for nonhomogeneous Markov jumping systems with dynamic quantization and hybrid cyber attacks is addressed in this paper. The introduction of polytopic-structure-based transition probabilities is employed to describe the nonhomogeneous Markov process. An asynchronous fault detection filter is proposed, which utilizes the hidden Markov model to achieve comprehensive access to the plant mode information.

This article addresses an adaptive neural network (NN) sliding-mode control (SMC) strategy for fuzzy singularly perturbed systems against unrestricted deception attacks and stochastic communication protocol (SCP). Instead of relying on the traditional transition probability, a sojourn-probability-based SCP is efficiently established to characterize the stochastic nature more precisely. In response to unrestricted deception attacks, an NN-based technique is deployed to estimate and counteract their detrimental impacts on system performance.

This article focuses on the stability issue of switched network control systems (SNCSs) under deception attacks described by a Bernoulli process with unknown probability distribution. The false information in deception attacks is unknown but bounded and may be state dependent or state independent. By means of the input-to-state stability (ISS) tool and the convex combination method, an improved lemma is first developed for SNCSs, which facilitates the derivations of our results.

Parametric amplifiers have become a workhorse in superconducting quantum computing; however, research and development of these devices has been hampered by inconsistent and, sometimes, misleading noise performance characterization methodologies. The concepts behind noise characterization are deceptively simple, and there are many places where one can make mistakes, either in measurement or in interpretation and analysis. In this article, we cover the basics of noise performance characterization and the special problems it presents in parametric amplifiers with limited power handling capability.

Security load frequency control model of interconnected power system based on deception attack.

State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Co., Ltd., Wenzhou Power Supply Company, Wenzhou, China.

The interconnected power system connects the power grids of different regions through transmission lines, achieving power interconnection and resource sharing. However, data is transmitted through open power networks and is more susceptible to network attacks. To improve the stability of interconnected power systems under deception attacks, three scenarios of system security load frequency control were studied.
