Background: Immunotherapy with immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) enhances the host immune reaction against tumour cells by inhibiting intrinsic down-regulators of the T cell-mediated immune response. Although the advent of ICIs has dramatically changed oncology, ICIs may also trigger an overactivation of T cells against non-cancerous tissues, leading to off-target immune-related adverse events (irAEs).
Case Summary: A 64-year-old man with a history of seven courses of atezolizumab, an ICI, for small-cell lung cancer and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was admitted to the hospital complaining of acute chest pain.

Introduction: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), presents diverse clinical manifestations and multi-organ involvement. This study aimed to evaluate the extra-pulmonary histopathological patterns underpinning COVID-19-induced lesions in cardiac, hepatic, renal, brainstem, and splenic tissues.
Materials And Methods: The research involved conventional forensic autopsies conducted between April 2020 and April 2021 on individuals with confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-induced pericarditis and pericardial myocarditis are common entities; however, the development of pericardial effusion post-COVID-19 infection has only been reported in about 5% of cases. Rapid and acute progression to pericardial tamponade is uncommon, and progression to effusive constrictive pericarditis (ECP) and pericardial decompression syndrome (PDS) is an even rarer phenomenon. We describe these phenomena in this report to raise awareness and aid clinicians in the early diagnosis and management of these conditions.

"COVID toe," one of the extrapulmonary disorders of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), may result in toe necrosis. In this case, we successfully reconstructed a severe COVID-19-induced defect in the great toe by using an innervated hemi-pulp V-Y advancement flap. A 48-year-old woman was diagnosed with fulminant myocarditis due to COVID-19 and received intensive care.
