The 3M style 30 intraocular lens was introduced in January 1980 as a closed-loop, uniplanar posterior chamber lens intended for in-the-bag implantation. Between February 13, 1980, and February 28, 1982, 584 of these lenses were implanted by one of us. Except for a few lost to follow-up, these patients have now had a minimum of two years of follow-up under our care. Using a microcomputer-based data-base management system, we have generated graphic and tabular presentations of follow-up, age at time of surgery, best postoperative visual acuity, preoperative and postoperative pathology, and surgical events and complications. A brief discussion of the advantages of the in-the-bag location and the style 30 design characteristics is included. We have been able to profile, compare, and correlate numerous preoperative, operative, and postoperative parameters.

Prcis: Wang et al compare an FDA-registered head-mounted smartphone device (PalmScan VF2000) with standard automated perimetry (SAP) in glaucoma patients and find that the head-mounted device may not fully recapitulate SAP testing.
Purpose: This study prospectively compared visual field testing using the PalmScan VF2000 Visual Field Analyzer, a head-mounted smartphone device, with standard automated perimetry (SAP).
Methods: Patients with glaucoma undergoing Humphrey Field Analyzer SAP testing were asked to complete in-office PalmScan testing using a Samsung S5 smartphone in a virtual reality-style headset.

Aims: To develop a generative adversarial network (GAN) capable of generating realistic high-resolution anterior segment optical coherence tomography (AS-OCT) images.
Methods: This study included 142 628 AS-OCT B-scans from the American University of Beirut Medical Center. The Style and WAvelet based GAN architecture was trained to generate realistic AS-OCT images and was evaluated through the Fréchet Inception Distance (FID) Score and a blinded assessment by three refractive surgeons who were asked to distinguish between real and generated images.
