Background: The aim of this paper was to evaluate the distribution of HIV and TB in Ethiopia during four years (2015-2018) at the district level, considering both spatial and temporal patterns.
Methods: Consolidated data on the count of TB case notifications and the number of patients with HIV for four years, 2015-2018, were provided by the Ethiopian Federal Ministry of Health. The data was analyzed using the Bayesian hierarchical approach, employing joint spatiotemporal modelling.

Climate change policies are driving the oil and gas industry to explore CO injection for carbon dioxide storage in reservoirs. In the United States, a substantial portion of oil production relies on CO-enhanced-oil-recovery (CO-EOR), demonstrating a growing interest in using CO to address various production challenges like condensate mitigation, pressure maintenance, and enhancing productivity in tight reservoirs. CO injection introduces gases like natural gas and N, either pre-existing or as impurities in the injected CO gas.

To address the persistent challenge of cell death spread and limitation during effector-triggered immunity (ETI), we propose a 'concentric circle' model. This model outlines a regulatory framework, integrating multiple cells and diverse signaling molecules, including salicylic acid (SA), jasmonic acid (JA), and Ca. By accounting for the varying concentrations and spatiotemporal distributions of these molecules, our model aims for precision in immune defense and regulated cell death.

Metals are micropollutants of significant concern in the aquatic environment, requiring continuous monitoring to assess their distribution and environmental risk. This study investigated metals in water, sediment, and bivalves at different locations along the Scheldt estuary (the Netherlands-Belgium). The distribution of metals generally decreased from upstream to downstream in each matrix, with exceptions.
