Active tracking of underwater small targets is a great challenge with kinematic information alone. This is because the active sonar often encounters multipath propagation and the induced clutter can even mask target echoes. Recently, high-order time lacunarity (HOT-Lac) has shown its ability in effectively highlighting "blob" targets from high clutter harbor environments. Hence, this paper proposes a HOT-Lac aided track scoring mechanism to solve the ambiguity of data association within the framework of Multiple Hypotheses Tracking (MHT). Specifically, the trajectory consistency of potential targets is captured by a momentum accumulation of the HOT Lac feature, which can inherit the historical information for the whole track. Meanwhile, due to the separability of the distribution of target and clutter in the HOT-Lac feature space, the probabilities of the target hypothesis and null hypothesis are modeled by the online computation of the HOT-Lac feature. Finally, the cumulative likelihood ratio based on HOT-Lac is integrated into MHT to score the potential tracks. Experiments in several real-world harbor scenarios demonstrate that the proposed HOT-Lac feature-aided tracker can suppress false tracks accurately and quickly.

Purpose: To assess longitudinal changes in optical quality across the periphery (horizontal meridian, 60°) in young children who are at high (HR) or low risk (LR) of developing myopia, as well as a small subgroup of children who developed myopia over a 3-year time frame.
Methods: Aberrations were measured every 6 months in 92 children with functional emmetropia at baseline. Children were classified into HR or LR based on baseline refractive error and parental myopia.

Cooperative formation flight of multiple aerial robotic vehicles (ARVs) is extensively adopted in emergency rescue and collaborative transport. But the time-varying complex disturbances are inevitable in the cooperative formation flight of multiple ARVs, which can affect the formation stability of multi-ARV systems. This paper investigates the robust formation control problems for multiple ARVs with time-varying disturbances.

Purpose: Chemical chelation with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) is an established treatment for calcific band keratopathy (CBK), whereas removal of calcium deposits from the subepithelial layer of the cornea may cause corneal irregularity. Using Fourier harmonic analysis, we analyzed the corneal topography in eyes with CBK treated by EDTA chelation.
Study Design: Retrospective, single-center study.
Purpose: Undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcomas (UPSs) demonstrate therapy-induced hemosiderin deposition, granulation tissue formation, fibrosis, and calcification. We aimed to determine the treatment-assessment value of morphologic tumoral hemorrhage patterns and first- and high-order radiomic features extracted from contrast-enhanced susceptibility-weighted imaging (CE-SWI).
Materials And Methods: This retrospective institutional review board-authorized study included 33 patients with extremity UPS with magnetic resonance imaging and resection performed from February 2021 to May 2023.
An intelligent controlled spatiotemporal mode-locked (STML) fiber laser based on a photonic lantern (PL) is proposed and experimentally demonstrated. A pair of in-house developed PLs is spliced into the cavity in a back-to-back structure. This PL-based structure functions as a mode multiplexer/demultiplexer to generate higher-order spatial modes.
