Pericarditis of varying severity is being recognized as a rare complication of the COVID-19 infection. We present a patient with an electrocardiogram (EKG) and physical exam findings that initially seemed to most likely be pericarditis related to the COVID-19 infection. The differential diagnosis was a bit difficult because it included ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) due to some EKG changes and early repolarization changes that were rather robust. Treatment options for STEMI could cause severe harm if the process turned out to be pericarditis. Treatment options for pericarditis could cause severe harm if the process turned out to be STEMI. And treatment options for early repolarization might be no treatment at all, which could cause harm if the process turned out to be STEMI or pericarditis. In this case, a correct diagnosis was very important to ensure a good clinical outcome. We would like to share our thought processes in the management of this case.

Rationale: Gastric antral vascular ectasia (GAVE) is a rare acquired lesion characterized by vascular dilation in the gastric antrum, frequently results in occult or overt gastrointestinal bleeding. Endoscopic intervention remains the cornerstone of therapy. Argon plasma coagulation was previously considered a first treatment option.

Rationale: Bilateral gluteus medius contractures in adults are rare in clinical practice, with only a few cases reported. These contractures may result from repeated intramuscular injections during childhood. Understanding the clinical manifestations, diagnostic process, treatment, and outcomes can provide insights into effective management strategies.

Background: Digital technologies for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) care hold great potential to improve patients' health in the long term. Only a subset of telemedicine offerings are digital interventions that meet the criteria for prescribable digitale Gesundheitsanwendung (digital health apps; DiGAs) in Germany. Digital treatments further provide vast amounts of patient data that are important to generate evidence.

The infiltrative and diffuse nature of gliomas makes complete resection unfeasible. Unfortunately, regions of brain parenchyma with residual, infiltrative tumor are protected by the blood-brain barrier (BBB), making systemic chemotherapies, small-molecule inhibitors, and immunotherapies of limited efficacy. Low-frequency focused ultrasound (FUS) in combination with intravascular microbubbles can be used to disrupt the BBB transiently and selectively within the tumor and peritumoral region.

Background: Transgender and gender diverse (TGD) people seek gender-affirming care at any age to manage gender identities or expressions that differ from their birth gender. Gender-affirming hormone treatment (GAHT) and gender-affirming surgery may alter reproductive function and/or anatomy, limiting future reproductive options to varying degrees, if individuals desire to either give birth or become a biological parent.

Objective And Rationale: TGD people increasingly pursue help for their reproductive questions, including fertility, fertility preservation, active desire for children, and future options.
