: Research in typically and some atypically developing populations showed associations between early motor and communication development, documenting how postural development can support communicative advancements. However, these relations have scarcely been investigated in the preterm population. : The present study aimed to describe motor (gross and fine motor) and communication (receptive and expressive) skills of very preterm infants at six months of corrected age and their associations, focusing on sitting posture achievement and early vocal production.

Individuals with Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS), an immune-modulated disorder, experience exacerbation-related neuropsychiatric symptoms, functional impairments, and high rates of developmental diagnosis. The literature describes links between giftedness and mental illness, and giftedness and autoimmune disorders. We sought to explore rates of giftedness among children with PANS as perceived by their caregivers, and to examine whether giftedness was related to PANS symptom severity, persistence, or duration.

A combination of telepractice (TP) and face-to-face therapy could address the lack of continuous service and improve accessibility to speech therapy providers. Background: Mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is a high-risk factor for dementia and dysphagia; therefore, early intervention is vital. The effectiveness of intermittent theta burst stimulation (iTBS) targeting the right dorsal lateral prefrontal cortex (rDLPFC) remains unclear.
Methods: Thirty-six participants with MCI were randomly allocated to receive real (n = 18) or sham (n = 18) iTBS.
