Purpose: This study aimed to predict early graft failure (GF) in patients who underwent Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty based on donor characteristics.
Methods: Several machine learning methods were trained to predict GF automatically. To predict GF, the following variables were obtained: donor age, sex, systemic diseases, medications, duration of stay in the intensive care unit, death-to-preservation time (DPT), endothelial cell density of the cornea, tightness of Descemet membrane roll during surgery, anterior chamber tamponade, tamponade used for rebubbling, and preoperative best corrected visual acuity.

Aim: To report the outcomes of three cases of corneal perforation managed with simultaneous tectonic Descemet stripping endothelial keratoplasty (t-DSEK) and tectonic Bowman layer transplant (t-BLT) as an alternative to tectonic penetrating keratoplasty (t-PKP).
Methods: Three eyes of three patients receiving simultaneous t-DSEK and t-BLT for corneal perforation were included. The technique for DSEK was modified depending on individual requirements.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to compare complication rates of Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) performed by directly supervised and nondirectly supervised corneal fellows.
Methods: This study was a retrospective, comparative case series of DMEK surgeries performed by novice surgeons (less than 15 DMEK cases) with or without direct direct expert supervision. Patients who underwent surgery for Fuchs endothelial dystrophy or pseudophakic bullous keratopathy with a minimum follow-up of 12 weeks were included.
