Objective: The purpose of this case study was to report the effect of an 8-week Pilates intervention on a ballet dancer's strength, balance, and endurance.
Clinical Features: A healthy 24-year-old ballet dancer (50 kg, 1.66 meters, 12 years of practice and who had no previous experience with Pilates) presented for care.

Background: Access to cardiac surgical services is limited in low- and middle-income countries. The shortage of cardiac surgical care providers is a major contributor to this limited access to lifesaving care. Task shifting and task sharing allow nonspecialists to perform roles typically reserved for specialists such as cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologists, and other health care workers with specific training in cardiac surgical care.

However, reaching above the diaphragma sella, especially for posterosuperior and retrocavernous orientation, still poses some challenges. Purpose: In the INBUILD trial in patients with progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF), nintedanib slowed the decline in forced vital capacity (FVC) versus placebo, with a safety profile characterised mainly by gastrointestinal events. INBUILD-ON, the open-label extension of INBUILD, assessed the safety of nintedanib during longer-term treatment. Data on FVC were collected.
