Combined dynamic clinical, psychological and pedagogical examination of 140 blind-and-deaf children revealed oligophrenia in 43 cases. Polymorphism and peculiar clinical manifestations in blind-and-deaf children with oligophrenia were demonstrated. A classification of oligophrenia in children with severe disorders of vision and hearing is proposed.
