In this paper, a chemically amplified (CA) i-line photoresist system is described including a phenolic resin modified with glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) addition and protected with di-tert-butyl dicarbonate (BOC group), here called JB resin. JB resin with different degrees of BOC protection was synthesized and characterized with ultraviolet spectrophotometry, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and gel permeation chromatography. These resins were also evaluated in CA resists by formulating the JB resin with a photoacid generator (PAG) and tested at 405 nm and 365 nm exposure wavelengths. The BOC protection ratio at approximately 25 mol% of the Novolak phenol group showed the best performance. The resist showed high sensitivity (approximately 190 mJ/cm), high resolution and good alkali developer resistance with reliable repeatability, indicating the great practical potential of this JB resist system.

Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the demographic, clinical characteristics, and service systems of patients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and/or intellectual disability presenting to a large paediatric hospital emergency department (ED) with behaviours of concern (BOC) over a two-year period.
Method: Retrospective audit of ED presentations with BOC in patients with ASD and/or intellectual disability from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2020, at the Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne, Australia.
Results: There were 124 presentations (84 patients) in 2019 and 129 presentations (82 patients) in 2020.

Dipeptides were constructed using hydrophobic amino acid residues following AMP prediction. After that Boc-modification was performed on the screened peptides and finally Boc-Phe-Trp-OMe and Boc-Trp-Trp-OMe were synthesized. Even though no inhibition zones were observed in agar well diffusion assays, minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) analysis revealed anti-bacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, with MIC ranging from 230 to 400 μg/mL.

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most prevalent arrhythmia in clinical practice, and obesity serves as a significant risk factor for its development. The underlying mechanisms of obesity-related AF remain intricate and have yet to be fully elucidated. We have identified FPR2 as a potential hub gene involved in obesity-related AF through comprehensive analysis of four transcriptome datasets from AF patients and one transcriptome dataset from obese individuals, and its expression is up-regulated in both AF and obese individuals.

A TFA-catalyzed dearomative cyanidation of isoquinoline is described, which provides a series of 1-cyanoisoquinolines in high yields under solvent-free conditions. This protocol is operated under mild and environmentally friendly conditions, utilizing readily available and cost-effective starting materials. The reaction features broad functional group compatibility, 100 mmol scale synthesis ability and operational simplicity, making it a significant potential approach for the synthesis of various biologically interesting isoquinolines α C-cyanation.

Inspired by the cyclopentenone family of prostaglandins, a series of 4-aza, cross-conjugated cyclopentenones is described. Synthesised from N-protected (4R)-aza-cyclopentenone 5, the exocyclic alkene was installed using a modified Baylis-Hillman type aldol reaction, whereby carbon-carbon bond formation is accompanied by dehydration. In this manner octanal and octenal, for example, can be introduced to mimic the ω-group present in the natural prostaglandins.
