Purpose: Although it is known that technology use increases in early childhood, no measurement tool has been found to examine technology addictions in children in this period. In this study, the development and validation process of the Technology Addiction Scale (TAS), which can be used to evaluate the technology addiction of children 2-5 years, is described.
Design: The sample of the study consists of 308 children 2-5 years living in one of the big cities of Turkey.
Methods: Item-total correlation coefficients, Cronbach Alpha reliability analyzes, explanatory and confirmatory factor analyses, and normality analyzes were used in the evaluation of the research data.
Findings: As a result of the analyzes made, the validity and reliability of the 9-item 2-factor (impulsiveness and implicit attitude) TAS scale have been proven. The Cronbach alpha value of the impulsiveness factor was calculated as 0.865, the Cronbach alpha value of the implicit attitude factor was calculated as 0.840, and the total Cronbach alpha value of the scale was 0.90. These Cronbach alpha values show an acceptable level of reliability.
Conclusions: According to the results of the validity and reliability analyzes, it can be said that TAS can be used as a reliable scale.

Purpose: Outcome-based pricing models which consider domains of value not previously considered in healthcare, such as societal outcomes, are of increasing interest for healthcare systems. Societal outcomes can include family-reported outcome measures (FROMs), which measure the impact of disease upon the patient's family members. The FROM-16 is a generic and easy-to-use family quality of life tool, but it has never been used in the context of patients undergoing advanced therapy medicinal product (ATMP) treatment.

The Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) is a widely used patient-reported outcome (PRO) tool designed to screen for depressive symptoms and assess their severity. In recent years, with advancements in digital technology, the BDI-II has been adapted for use as an electronic PRO (ePRO) tool. However, to the best of our knowledge, the reliability of the smartphone version of the BDI-II has not been thoroughly investigated.

Background/objectives: Musculoskeletal symptoms, such as neck pain, back pain, and eye strain, are prevalent in modern work environments, particularly among individuals engaged in prolonged sitting and repetitive tasks. This study aimed to explore the prevalence of these symptoms and the impact of ergonomic tool usage, break frequency, posture awareness, and proactive measures on symptom intensity and daily functioning.
Methods: This cross-sectional pilot study used a self-developed questionnaire to assess the prevalence and intensity of musculoskeletal symptoms among participants aged 6-18 years.
