Aim: The aim of this work was to quantify post-colonoscopy colorectal cancer (PCCRC) rates in National Health Service (NHS) Scotland using World Endoscopy Association guidelines, compare incidence between health boards and referral streams and explore comparisons in results with published data from other healthcare systems.
Method: This is a population-based cohort study using NHS Scotland data between 2012 and 2018. All people undergoing colonoscopy between 2012 and 2018 and subsequently diagnosed as having bowel cancer up to 3 years after their investigation were included.

Objectives: This Danish nationwide retrospective register-based cohort study investigated healthcare costs for patients with screen-detected colorectal cancer (SD-CRC) compared to non-screen-detected CRC (NSD-CRC).
Study Design: Nationwide cohort study.
Methods: Quarterly healthcare costs including costs of hospital care, out-of-hospital medication, and primary sector contacts were compared between the two groups from two years before diagnosis of CRC until two years after.

Introduction: Despite reports indicating that polyps proximal to the splenic flexure have higher rates of metachronous colorectal adenocarcinoma (CRC), the role of adenoma location on surveillance recommendations remains unclear. This study aimed to analyze the association between index polyp location and postcolonoscopy CRC among participants of the Minnesota Colon Cancer Control Study.
Methods: The Minnesota Colon Cancer Control Study randomized 46,551 patients 50-80 years to usual care, annual, or biennial screening with fecal occult-blood testing.

Importance: Patients of physicians with higher adenoma detection rates (ADRs) during colonoscopy have lower colorectal cancer (CRC) risk after screening colonoscopy (ie, postcolonoscopy CRC). Among physicians with an ADR above the recommended threshold, it is unknown whether improving ADR is associated with a lower incidence of CRC in their patients.
Objective: To determine the association of improved ADR in physicians with a range of ADR values at baseline with CRC incidence among their patients.
