This case report describes Crohn's disease complicated by squamous cell carcinoma in an enterocutaneous fistula. A 48-year-old male patient was diagnosed with Crohn's disease 24 years ago and has undergone five surgical operations. An enterocutaneous fistula originated from the midline abdominal wound 11 years after the onset.

Intravascular large B-cell lymphoma (IVLBCL) is characterized by clinical presentations described as B symptoms, consisting of fever, night sweats, and weight loss. Intravascular lymphomas are more frequently diagnosed in elderly patients and are challenging to diagnose because of their nonspecific clinical presentation. Malignant lymphomas are recognized as the leading cause of fever of unknown origin.

Demoralization in the face of adversity is a common existential state. However, it has not been examined in reaction to warfare, and the mediators between the extent of exposure to war and demoralization in this context are also unknown. This study explored the associations of indirect exposure to war, acute stress symptoms, disengaged coping, and demoralization.

Background: Among the people with diverse backgrounds and cultural customs living in Japan, two important groups, namely, war-displaced Japanese returning from China and South and North Korean nationals who are naturalized citizens residing in Japan, will experience population aging in the same way as the general Japanese population. In old age, physical function generally declines, multiple diseases are more likely to occur, and health issues that need to be addressed increase in number. The aim of this study was to identify the factors associated with the use of preventive health services in Japan by older Korean residents and war-displaced Japanese returning from China.
