This study developed and validated a deep learning network using baseline magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to predict Ki-67 status in meningioma patients. A total of 1239 patients were retrospectively recruited from three hospitals between January 2010 and December 2023, forming training, internal validation, and two external validation cohorts. A representation learning framework was utilized for modeling, and performance was assessed against existing methods.

Aim: Artificial intelligence (AI) based auto-segmentation aids radiation therapy (RT) workflows and is being adopted in clinical environments facilitated by the increased availability of commercial solutions for organs at risk (OARs). In addition, open-source imaging datasets support training for new auto-segmentation algorithms. Here, we studied if the female and male anatomies are equally represented among these solutions.

Separated by a gap of 27 years, Anna Reynold's (1992) and Gary Owen's (2015) offer, on the surface, dramaturgically similar critiques of the impact of poverty on motherhood. Both plays are critically acclaimed monologues for women, which describe the death of a baby following inadequate interventions from health and/or social care services. This article examines the different theatrical contexts for these plays and offers a situated reading of the representation of maternal crisis in circumstances of social deprivation.

The aim of this study was to investigate the representation of women in the German-speaking scientific publication landscape of otorhinolaryngology.Authorship was analyzed based on articles published between 2013 and 2023 in the two largest otorhinolaryngology journals (Laryngorhinootologie, HNO) to determine the frequency and percentage of gender distribution among first and last authorships.A total of 2,631 articles were examined.

Background: It is widely recognized that out-of-home care (OHC) is associated with criminal behavior, yet less is known about how this behavior unfolds in the OHC population over the life course and whether it is marked by desistance or persistence.

Objective: This study examines offending trajectories from age 15 to 64 in men and women with and without OHC experiences. It also investigates how different ages of placement, types of placements and reasons for placements affect representation across these trajectories.
