Background & Objective: Diabetic patients often develop lesions called non-diabetic renal diseases (NDRD), whose prognostic and therapeutic implications vary from diabetic nephropathy (DN). Since early identification of NDRD is associated with a better prognosis, we aimed to understand its spectrum.

Background: The treatment of idiopathic refractory nephrotic syndrome (IRNS) remains a difficult problem in clinical practice. This study aims to determine the efficacy and safety of combining low-dose glucocorticoids with rituximab in IRNS treatment.
Methods: This prospective, single-center cohort study enrolled 60 patients who were diagnosed with refractory IRNS with minimal change disease (MCD) or focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) and treated at First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.
Hepatitis B-associated glomerulonephritis (GN) has been recognized for decades. However, only a few cases of IgA nephropathy (IgAN) in a setting of rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis (RPGN) associated with chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) have been described. Herein, we report the case of a 42-year-old Asian female with a past medical history significant for chronic HBV on entecavir, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, and newly diagnosed breast cancer, who underwent elective bilateral mastectomy and breast augmentation.

We report a rare case of glomerulonephritis associated with the Coxiella infection. An elderly male first presented with recurrent fevers of unknown origin and was subsequently diagnosed with Q fever infection and treated with doxycycline.
