This paper proposes a feature fusion algorithm for solving the path planning problem of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) using GPS and communication denial conditions. Due to the blockage of GPS and communication, UAVs cannot obtain the precise position of a target, which leads to the failure of path planning algorithms. This paper proposes a feature fusion proximal policy optimization (FF-PPO) algorithm based on deep reinforcement learning (DRL); the algorithm can fuse image recognition information with the original image, realizing the multi-UAV path planning algorithm without an accurate target location. In addition, the FF-PPO algorithm adopts an independent policy for multi-UAV communication denial environments, which enables the distributed control of UAVs such that multi-UAVs can realize the cooperative path planning task without communication. The success rate of our proposed algorithm can reach more than 90% in the multi-UAV cooperative path planning task. Finally, the feasibility of the algorithm is verified by simulations and hardware.

Electric vehicles (EVs) are gaining significant attention as an environmentally friendly transportation solution. However, limitations in battery technology continue to restrict EV range and charging speed, resulting in range anxiety, which hampers widespread adoption. While there has been increasing research on EV route optimization, personalized path planning that caters to individual user needs remains underexplored.

Automatic Parking Trajectory Planning Based on Warm Start Nonlinear Dynamic Optimization.

In this paper, we propose an optimal parking path planning method based on numerical solving, which leverages the concept of the distance between convex sets. The obstacle avoidance constraints were transformed into continuous, smooth nonlinear constraints using the Lagrange dual function. This approach enables the determination of a globally optimal parking path while satisfying vehicular kinematic constraints.

To address the issue of safe, orderly, and efficient operation for unmanned vehicles within the apron area in the future, a hardware framework of aircraft-vehicle-airfield collaboration and a trajectory planning method for unmanned vehicles on the apron were proposed. As for the vehicle-airfield perspective, a collaboration mechanism between flight support tasks and unmanned vehicle departure movement was constructed. As for the latter, a control mechanism was established for the right-of-way control of the apron.

Comparative Study on Growth Characteristics and Early Selection Efficiency of Hybrid Offspring of 'DD-109' and in Liaoning, China.

Plants (Basel)

January 2025

State Key Laboratory of Tree Genetics and Breeding, Research Institute of Forestry, Chinese Academy of Forestry, Beijing 100091, China.

Poplar is an important tree species for timber supply and ecological protection in northern China. Cultivating and selecting high-quality varieties and germplasm resources suitable for cultivation are key factors in enhancing the quality and productivity of poplar plantations in the arid and semi-arid northern regions with shorter growing seasons. This study conducted a field cultivation experiment on 10 progeny clones from the direct cross (D × M) of imported 'DD-109' with and 7 progeny clones from the reciprocal cross (M × D) using one-year-old rooted cuttings planted at a 4 m × 8 m spacing.

Background: Dementia represents a major public health challenge. Despite numerous initiatives promoting screening for early cognitive impairment to help prevent or delay its onset, participation remains limited. Moreover, there is limited evidence regarding screening intentions and predictors among populations at high risk of dementia.
