Obtaining three-dimensional (3D) configurational information of surface organometallic complexes is a persistent challenge due to the low spatial sensitivity of most spectroscopic methods. We show that employing O-enriched supports enables highly informative multidimensional NMR experiments, including radial and vertical distance measurements, that can be used to elucidate site geometry.

Isatin (1-indole-2,3-dione) and its derivatives have been found to exhibit various biological activities, including anticancer and antidiabetic properties. In this study, a series of nine isatin-1,2,3-triazole conjugates were synthesized and evaluated for their anti-inflammatory potential experiments. Their synthesis involved the propargylation of isatin 1 with propargyl bromide to obtain -propargyl isatin 2, which was subjected to click reactions with different aromatic azides to yield isatin--1,2,3-triazoles (3a-i).

We report an enhanced recognition and redox-responsive reversible host-guest system based on ester-bearing calix[]phenoxazines. The carbonyl groups, oriented toward the cavity, act as the extra binding sites to enhance the binding affinity, which is confirmed by NMR and FTIR experiments and single-crystal structure analysis. Due to the oxidizable nature of calix[]phenoxazine, a redox-controlled reversible response is established.

Functional connectivity holds promise as a biomarker of schizophrenia. Yet, the high dimensionality of predictive models trained on functional connectomes, combined with small sample sizes in clinical research, increases the risk of overfitting. Recently, low-dimensional representations of the connectome such as macroscale cortical gradients and gradient dispersion have been proposed, with studies noting consistent gradient and dispersion differences in psychiatric conditions.

Purpose: To develop an improved post-processing pipeline for noise-robust accelerated phase-cycled Cartesian Single (SQ) and Triple Quantum (TQ) sodium (Na) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of in vivo human brain at 7 T.
Theory And Methods: Our pipeline aims to tackle the challenges of Na Multi-Quantum Coherences (MQC) MRI including low Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and time-consuming Radiofrequency (RF) phase-cycling. Our method combines low-rank k-space denoising for SNR enhancement with Dynamic Mode Decomposition (DMD) to robustly separate SQ and TQ signal components.

In order to the antifungal activity of chitosan (CS) and to obtain a better natural bio-antimicrobial agent, CS was modified with acrylpimaric acid (APA). The grafting sites of APA on CS were controlled by adjusting the reaction time and the ratio of reactants to obtain APA grafted with CS C-NH (NCSAA) and C-OH (CSAA). Intermediates to protect C-NH (PMCSAA) and final sample derivatives (PCSAA) were prepared using phthalic anhydride.
