Introduction: In England, Quality Assurance is a legal requirement, regulated by the Care Quality Commission; equipment in use may exhibit only minor deterioration. There is evidence that a significant number of ultrasound transducers in use exhibit major faults and this may lead to suboptimal imaging in a large number of examinations. There is limited evidence suggesting that the uptake of Quality Assurance in the United Kingdom is low; the aim of this study was to gather more information on current Quality Assurance practice.
Methods: A questionnaire to establish the level of Quality Assurance in place in National Health Service Hospital Trusts in the United Kingdom was sent by email to 170 National Health Service Chief Executives.
Results: There were 60 responses to the survey from individual National Health Service organisations, only four respondents (7%) indicating that no Quality Assurance was performed in their organisation. Twenty-three percent of respondents conducted only annual Quality Assurance. Eighteen percent of respondents conducted only user Quality Assurance.
Conclusion: In the worst case, if no non-respondents had a Quality Assurance programme, only 33% of National Health Service Trusts in the United Kingdom have a Quality Assurance programme. The true figure will be between 33% and 93%. Annual Quality Assurance alone is insufficient to detect faults in a timely manner and user Quality Assurance alone may not detect more subtle faults. It is easy and straightforward for ultrasound users to perform Quality Assurance every day, in the form of a rapid visual inspection and uniformity assessment before every use.

Background: Barriers to the cancer continuum organization and interventions to approach them have been identified; however, there is a lack of a tool matching them. Our aim was to develop a web-based tool to identify the main barriers to the process of the cancer continuum organization, and propose matched evidence-based interventions (EBI) to overcome them.
Methods: A questionnaire on barriers at six steps of the process of the cancer continuum organization was answered by collaborators.

Unlabelled: Prophylactic respiratory support for patients after extubation is effective in improving their outcomes and prognosis. However, the optimal post-extubation respiratory support for different populations and disease types of mechanically ventilated patients remains controversial, and there is a lack of detailed, multidisciplinary, evidence-based recommendations for clinical application.
Methods And Analysis: This protocol strictly follows the development process outlined in the WHO Handbook for Guideline Development and Guidelines 2.

The introduction of modern Western medicine in the late 19th century, notably through vaccination initiatives, marked the beginning of governmental involvement in medical licensure, with the licensing of doctors who performed vaccinations. The establishment of the national medical school "Euihakkyo" in 1899 further formalized medical education and licensure, granting graduates the privilege to practice medicine without additional examinations. The enactment of the Regulations on Doctors in 1900 by the Joseon government aimed to define doctor qualifications, including modern and traditional practitioners, comprehensively.

Inorganic nanozymes hold promise for biomolecule sensing but face challenges like complex fabrication, toxicity, and low sustainability, limiting their use. To overcome these, a sustainable organic nanozyme (OA nanozyme) was created using amino acids and a biocompatible polymer for effective histamine detection. The OA nanozyme exhibits peroxidase-like activity and was fabricated through a single chelation/polymer entanglement method, enabling rapid production (within 3 h) with uniform morphology (≤100 nm diameter) and a negative surface charge at neutral pH.

Introduction: In recent years, patient preferences and attitudes have become crucial in shaping dental treatment choices and service utilization. Understanding these preferences is crucial for improving service delivery and patient satisfaction.
Aim: This study aims to comprehensively analyze the factors influencing these preferences, focusing on demographic, socio-economic, and behavioral variables, and the growing role of social media in healthcare decisions.
