Introduction: Syndromes associated with vascular malformation and soft tissue overgrowth in the paediatric population present with multiple soft tissue swellings. Ultrasound is the initial investigation of choice for paediatric soft tissue swellings. Ultrasound evaluation can accurately assess the nature of vascular malformations and pattern of lipomatous hypertrophy in areas of soft tissue overgrowth to facilitate early diagnosis of such syndromes.
Case Report: Here, we report a case of CLOVES (congenital lipomatous overgrowth (CLO), vascular malformations (V), epidermal nevi (E), and spinal/skeletal anomalies/scoliosis (S)) syndrome in a 6-year-old girl referred for evaluation of soft tissue swellings. CLOVES syndrome is a rare overgrowth syndrome in the paediatric population which presents with multiple soft tissue swellings. The ultrasound and clinical features of the syndrome have been illustrated to help radiologists accurately diagnose this rare syndrome based on detailed ultrasound and clinical evaluation.
Discussion: Radiological features of CLOVES syndrome and differentiating ultrasound features of other such syndromes have been described in detail. A systematic stepwise approach to diagnosing complex syndromic associations of vascular malformations with lipomatous overgrowth has been proposed. Role of ultrasound in the management, Wilms tumour screening and follow-up of CLOVES syndrome have also been discussed.
Conclusion: Ultrasound plays a crucial role in the early diagnosis and management of complex syndromes presenting with soft tissue swelling in the paediatric population. It also aids in the differentiation of such syndromes, tumour screening, guided sclerotherapy and follow-up of vascular lesions encountered in such syndromes.

BACKGROUND Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy recessive 1 (LGMDR1) is an autosomal recessive degenerative muscle disorder characterized by progressive muscular weakness caused by pathogenic variants in the CAPN3 gene. Desmoplastic small round cell tumors (DSRCT) are ultra-rare and aggressive soft tissue sarcomas usually in the abdominal cavity, molecularly characterized by the presence of a EWSR1::WT1 fusion transcript. Mouse models of muscular dystrophy, including LGMDR1, present an increased risk of soft tissue sarcomas.

Airway compromise due to prevertebral soft tissue swelling is a potentially devastating complication following anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF). However, there are no studies on the postoperative patient posture for enhancing airway patency after ACDF. This study aimed to analyze the effect of neck and mouth postures on airway patency following ACDF and to suggest the beneficial postoperative patient posture for improving airway patency.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a brain disorder that causes memory loss and behavioral and thinking problems. The symptoms of Alzheimer's are similar throughout its development stages, which makes it difficult to diagnose manually. Therefore, artificial intelligence (AI) techniques address the limitations of manual diagnosis.

Complete arch oral implant treatment using photogrammetry was studied in 77 patients with 111 arches focusing on digitization of clinical records and optimization of the provisional. The aim of the study was to test the hypothesis that patient satisfaction with the provisional prosthesis during the first 4 months of care determined workflow efficiency and success. Digitization of 8 clinical records was done including centric relation, vertical dimension, esthetics, occlusion, inter-arch space, abutment selection, abutment capture, and soft tissue scan.

We carried out a cadaver study using 10 fresh-frozen adult legs and hands to explore technical feasibility and reproducibility of the free Medial Sural Artery Perforator flap and its applicability for covering soft tissue defects in the hand. A mean of 2 cutaneous perforators (1-4) were found. Each flap had a pedicle composed of a main perforator that arose from the medial sural artery.
