Objective And Methods: We investigated the locomotor, emotional, physiological, and neurobiological effects induced by low-dose reserpine repeated treatment (0.1 mg/kg; 14 injections) in males from the Lewis (LEW), Spontaneously Hypertensive Rats (SHR), and SHR.LEW-(D4Rat76-D4Mgh11) (SLA16) isogenic rat strains, which have different genetic backgrounds on chromosome 4. Behavioral responses in the catalepsy, open-field, and oral movements' tests were coupled with blood pressure, body weight, and striatal tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) level assessments to establish neurobiological comparisons between reserpine-induced impairments and genetic backgrounds RESULTS: Results revealed the SHR strain was more sensitive in the catalepsy test and exhibited higher TH immunoreactivity in the dorsal striatum. The SLA16 strain presented more oral movements, suggesting increased susceptibility to develop oral dyskinesia.
Conclusions: Our results showed the efficacy of repeated treatment with a low dose of reserpine and demonstrated, for the first time, the genetic influence of a specific region of chromosome 4 on the expression of these effects.

Objectives: To determine the safety and efficacy of a video-supported Cawthorne-Cooksey exercise program (CCEP) in improving balance, dizziness and decreasing fear of falling in older adults with balance deficits and dizziness.
Methods: Thirty-two older adults were divided into two groups (intervention and control). The intervention group followed a video-supported CCEP group, while the control group received written instructions to maintain their usual activity and counselling on fall prevention.

Deep brain stimulation (DBS) for essential tremor is remarkably effective, leading to over 80% reduction in standardized tremor ratings. However, for certain types of tremor, such as those accompanied by ataxia or dystonia, conventional DBS targets have shown poor efficacy. Various rationales for using cerebellar DBS stimulation to treat tremor have been advanced, but the varied approaches leave many questions unanswered: which anatomic target, stimulation settings, and indications seem most promising for this emerging approach.

Introduction: Ozoralizumab (OZR) is a novel tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitor that was launched in Japan for treating patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who have had an inadequate response to existing therapies. This post-hoc analysis aimed to compare the efficacy of OZR administered without methotrexate (MTX) with placebo or OZR administration in combination with MTX.
Methods: We analyzed the OZR group (30 mg) in the NATSUZORA trial (non-MTX, open trial) (OZR group; n = 94) and the placebo group (MTX group; n = 75) and the 30-mg OZR group (OZR + MTX group; n = 152) in the OHZORA trial (combined MTX, double-blind trial), and the covariates were adjusted by propensity score matching.

Background: The removal of preformed antibodies with cleaving enzyme like IdeS (Imlifidase) has demonstrated therapeutic potential in organ transplantation for sensitized recipients. However, preformed xenoreactive antibodies (XAbs) against porcine glycans are predominantly IgM and considered detrimental in pig-to-human xenotransplantation.
Methods: Recombinant IceM, an endopeptidase cleaving IgM, was generated in Escherichia coli.

Purpose: Daily online adaptive radiotherapy (ART) improves dose metrics for gynecological cancer patients, but the on-treatment process is resource-intensive requiring longer appointments and additional time from the entire adaptive team. To optimize resource allocation, we propose a model to identify high-priority patients.
Methods: For 49 retrospective cervical and endometrial cancer patients, we calculated two initial plans: the treated standard-of-care (Initial) and a reduced margin initial plan (Initial) for adapting with the Ethos treatment planning system.
