Virtual influencers are gaining prominence as a way of attracting people's attention on social media, but limited research has been conducted on this subject. In this research, we explore the effects of human-like virtual influencers (HVIs) vs. anime-like virtual influencers (AVIs) and sponsorship disclosure on message credibility perception and message attitudes. Conducted with a 2 (virtual influencer type: HVI vs. AVI) x 2 (sponsorship disclosure: absent vs. present) between-subjects experiment, our findings suggest that HVI endorsements produce greater perception of message credibility and message attitudes than AVI endorsements, but the superior effect of HVIs (vs. AVIs) vanishes when sponsorship is disclosed. The results also show that message credibility plays a significant mediating role only when sponsorship is not disclosed. We believe our research offers interesting insights to both researchers and practitioners on the topic of virtual influencers.

Background: This study explores the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-generated social media influencers to disseminate cancer prevention messages. Utilizing a Generative AI (GenAI) application, we created a virtual persona, "Wanda", to promote cancer awareness on Instagram.
Methods: We created five posts, addressing the five most modifiable risk factors for cancer: tobacco consumption, unhealthy diet, sun exposure, alcohol consumption, and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) infection.

Background: The use of menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) was significantly reduced following the publication of the Women's Health Initiative study results and has remained low ever since. However, from 2015 onwards, the UK has seen a substantial increase in MHT prescribing compared to other European countries.
Objectives: To evaluate the factors contributing to the shift in women's and healthcare professionals' (HCPs) perception of MHT in the United Kingdom and to provide learning points for other European countries.
Importance: HIV transmission in Kazakhstan has increased among men who have sex with men (MSM) and transgender and nonbinary people who have sex with men (TSM), driven by low HIV testing rates.
Objective: To determine if the intervention had a community effect of increasing HIV testing among MSM and TSM in Kazakhstan.
Design: We employed a stepped-wedge, cluster-randomized controlled trial with MSM and TSM community members recruited from three cities in Kazakhstan: Almaty, Astana, and Shymkent.
