Introduction: Annual natural and man-made disasters in Iran eventually lead to casualties and considerable financial loss. The success of a reconstruction programme depends on accurate postdisaster damage and loss assessment. Based on these assessments, the goals, priorities and approaches required for reconstruction are prepared and formulated. To effectively implement a reconstruction and rehabilitation programme in the country's health sector, it is necessary to prepare and compile a postdisaster damage and loss assessment programme.
Methods And Analysis: This qualitative study will be conducted to develop a conceptual model of a postdisaster damage and loss assessment programme in Iran's health sector. First, a scoping review method will be conducted to identify the entities and components of the postdisaster damage and loss assessment programme. Then, using semistructured interviews, the opinions of university professors and disaster damage and loss assessors in the health sector will be obtained. Next, by conducting a focus group discussion, the initial programme of disaster damage and loss assessment in the Iranian health sector will be developed and then, the modified Delphi method will be used to validate it.
Ethics And Dissemination: Ethical approval for this study was obtained from the research ethics committee of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences (IR.MUI.NUREMA.REC.1400.171). The study results will be disseminated to stakeholders, published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at conferences.

Background: Complex craniofacial trauma is defined as those traumatic injuries that are not responding to initial treatment and may involve chronic infection, tissue exposure, and soft tissue contusions. Typical reconstruction using a Y-shaped microvascular venous anastomotic free flap is labor intensive. Although free flap grafts have been used in many applications, their use for combined microvascular anastomotic therapy remains an unexplored but attractive possibility.

Nanoplastics are common environmental pollutants. As of now, research has yet to explore how exposure to nanomaterials during gestation might influence the risk of developing Alzheimer's disease (AD) in offspring. Throughout the research, we assessed the AD pathology in adult offspring of mice prenatal 80 nm polystyrene nanoparticles (PS-NPs) exposure.

In the background of antioxidation properties of selenium (Se) in plants, the role of nano‑selenium (Se-NPs) was justified in the modulation of Capsicum fruit ripening. In our study, exogenous application of 8 mg L Se-NPs on fruits through 7 days (D) of postharvest storage regulated decay rate, water loss and fruit coat firmness. Se-NPs recovered fruit coat damages with reduction of ion leakage, lipid oxidation, and accumulation of polyamines.

Introduction: Neurogenic bladder dysfunction is a prevalent condition characterized by impaired bladder control resulting from neurological conditions, for example, spinal cord injury or traumatic brain injury (TBI). Detrusor overactivity is a typical symptom of central nervous system damage. A lesion affecting the pontine neural network typically results in loss of tonic inhibition exerted by the pontine micturition center and causes involuntary detrusor contractions.
