Metabolic reprogramming is a hallmark of cancer, enabling tumor cells to adapt to and exploit their microenvironment for sustained growth. The liver is a common site of metastasis, but the interactions between tumor cells and hepatocytes remain poorly understood. In the context of liver metastasis, these interactions play a crucial role in promoting tumor survival and progression.

Accurate diagnoses of peroneal pathologies remains a challenge due to limitations of conventional 2D (dimensional) imaging, which can impact long-term patient outcomes. This study evaluates MRI accuracy and inter-reader reliability of peroneal compartment pathology for 2D and 3D MRI. A consecutive series of patients who underwent peroneal compartment surgery with preoperative 1.

Introduction: Brain cross-sectional images, tractography, and segmentation are valuable resources for neuroanatomical education and research but are also crucial for neurosurgical planning that may improve outcomes in cerebellar and brainstem interventions. Although ultrahigh-resolution 7-Tesla (7T) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) reveal such structural brain details in living or fresh unpreserved brain tissue, imaging standard formalin-preserved cadaveric brain specimens often used for neurosurgical anatomic studies has proven difficult. This study sought to develop a practical protocol to provide anatomic information and tractography results of an human brainstem-cerebellum specimen.

The fusion of low-resolution hyperspectral images (LR-HSI) with high-resolution multispectral images (HR-MSI) provides a cost-effective approach to obtaining high-resolution hyperspectral images (HR-HSI). Existing methods primarily based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) struggle to capture global features and do not adequately address the significant scale and spectral resolution differences between LR-HSI and HR-MSI. To tackle these challenges, our novel FCSwinU network leverages the spectral fast Fourier convolution (SFFC) module for spectral feature extraction and utilizes the Swin Transformer's self-attention mechanism for multi-scale global feature fusion.
