On the basis of interviews with 20 Chinese EFL teachers and text-mining analysis, this study investigates the reconstruction of language teacher identity during the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of context, agency, and practice. The word co-occurrence analysis and collocation statistics with modal verbs coded by KH Coder 3.0 demonstrate that English teachers face two types of identity reconstruction processes: (a) situational context related to various changes, and, (b) interactional context that causes communication difficulties with students. How teachers enact agency is influenced by their teaching experience. Through practice, teachers reconstruct their identity as solution seekers, positive learners, and confident professionals.

In the aftermath of its Apology to People of Color (American Psychological Association, 2021b), the American Psychological Association recently committed itself to a long-term process by which it aims to address racial equity within the field of psychology as well as society more broadly (Andoh, 2022). In service of these ends, what can psychology learn from an analysis of the discursive framework within which it conducts its racism-related work? This critical conceptual article begins with the premise that all professional discourse-the concepts, language, and logic structures by which a field creates and communicates knowledge-inevitably bears the markings of the society in which it was established. Examination of psychological discourse, therefore, can reveal information not only about social hierarchies but also about the field's potential reproduction of them (even when the field intends to do otherwise).

However, traditional evaluations of simulated teaching typically rely on direct teacher involvement and guidance, increasing teachers' workload and limiting the opportunities for teacher students to practice independently. This paper introduces a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) framework constructed using various open-source tools (such as FastChat for model inference and Whisper for speech-to-text) combined with a local large language model (LLM) for audio analysis of simulated teaching.

Purpose: The purpose of the current study was to gain insight on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) interface designs for children with cortical visual impairment (CVI). Children with CVI frequently require AAC and specific interface supports, and customization may be necessary to support access and use of speech-generating devices.
Method: A focus group methodology was selected to gain feedback from vision professionals on helpful AAC features for children with CVI.
