Background: Antibiotic exposure for fever/cough has been rising alarmingly, especially among children under five in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). This excessive use could result in higher healthcare costs, and antibiotic resistance is an alarming trend in developing countries. As a result, it's crucial to look at the variables that affect antibiotic exposure and highlight the subgroups among whom antibiotic abuse is the most prevalent.

Childhood blindness significantly impacts development, education, employment, and mental health, creating burden for families and society. Between 8% and 30% of children with Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) develop a potentially blinding chronic inflammatory eye disease, uveitis (JIAU). Alongside the use of disease-modifying agents and anti-TNF immunomodulators, JIAU surveillance has helped to reduce the risk of JIAU related blindness.

Objective: Current studies leveraging social media data for disease monitoring face challenges like noisy colloquial language and insufficient tracking of user disease progression in longitudinal data settings. This study aims to develop a pipeline for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large-scale longitudinal social media data for disease monitoring, with a focus on COVID-19 pandemic.
Materials And Methods: This pipeline initiates by screening COVID-19 cases from tweets spanning February 1, 2020, to April 30, 2022.
